Season 1 – February 2021

We completed a successful blog challenge in January with 40+ registrations. Due to COVID, laptop issues, job changes, personal commitments and more, we finally had around 30+ participating throughout the month. There were hosts, sponsors, prizes, excitement, deadlines, queries, certificates and most of all engagement. Now, we are opening registrations for those interested in the next challenge that would start on the 1st day of February, as that happens to be the first Monday of the month!
Lastly, and most importantly, I’m glad to announce that my co-host, Noor Chawla who manages, has agreed to be on-board for the next month, too. So, let’s get another party started in the lovey-dovey month of February 2021!

Some of us are naturally enthusiastic about writing consistently. But, many of us tend to get lazy and find excuses not to write. We hope that while we sit on our backsides watching movies and eating junk food, our blogs will reach great heights automatically. The truth is, as there are plenty of bloggers all across the world now, no one will even know that we exist.

So, in order to get our blogs out there, to a new audience, we have gotten together some new bloggers as well as the old and experienced ones from across the globe, to take part in this challenge.

Writing regularly, and leaving genuine comments on other blogs, helps improve your website’s global Alexa ranking. Please note that while commenting on other blogs, along with your name and email address, your website’s URL should also be written correctly (should include the http or https).

Another reason to take part in this challenge is to win some prizes:

The One Who Wrote the Best (The best fresh blog published in January 2021, linked to the party and with the correct line mentioned at the end of the blog).

The One Who Commented the Best (reads other participating blogs and leaves genuine comments – yes we can make out if it’s a half-hearted comment).

Another surprise one will be revealed soon!

If you are blogging for the mere joy of writing, then leave it at that. But, if you are trying to turn your passion into a career, you will have to spread the word about your blog. Spread the word to people who could benefit and love visiting your blog again, and again, and yet, again.

You can check your Alexa ranking here and keep track of it before and after the challenge. The lower it is the better!

Below is the Alexa Extension that you can add to your toolbar so that you can check the Alexa ranking of any website that you open. Wink, wink and get motivated to improve yours, too!

In order to take your blog to the next level, here are some rules:

  1. Your blog posts have to be in English ONLY.
  2. You have to publish, on your website, at least 4 blog posts in the month of February. That is 1 blog post every week (ideally Monday, the 1st, 8th, 15th and 22nd of February 2021). You can publish an article on your website on any day of the week but linking to the Link Party should be done within the deadlines given below.
  3. No theme, no prompts, no suggested topics. It’s all up to you and what you want to post about on your own website. Guest posts, Sponsored posts, Review posts, gyan, poems and everything is accepted. It’s Valentine’s month so you could probably think on those lines, in case you are blank. No compulsion whatsoever.
  4. You will have to copy and paste a mandatory line, with backlinks to the hosts and sponsors, and insert it anywhere into your blog posts. For example, ‘This blog post is part of the blog challenge ‘Blogaberry Dazzle’ hosted by Cindy D’Silva and Noor Anand Chawla‘. (The final one will be given on email).
  5. Once the link to the host’s blog post (for the week) is given, you will have to read, comment and share it on Twitter with compulsory hashtag #BlogaberryDazzle. The handles to be tagged will be given in the email and WhatsApp group for easy reference. You can share on Pinterest and Facebook if you like.
  6. The host’s blog post will have the Link Party where you will have to add your blog post link anytime between Monday 00:00 hrs and Wednesday 18:00 hrs IST. If you miss the party, you will miss getting engagements on your blog post that week, so please be alert. You can, however, take part in the next week but won’t be eligible for the certification and prizes.
  7. Once the above is completed, we will send you the link (with other blog posts) so that you can spend time, read and leave genuine comments (more than 10 words) on them all. You will be given enough time to finish reading and commenting. Sunday 23:59 (your time zone) will be the last day for completion every week. Only once you have completed engagement for that week, can you link to the party the following week.

If you’re only an avid reader, and would like to take part, write to us on the email address given below.

Just fill this form before January 31, 2021 and you are good to go. Read the rules carefully because we are two strict hosts who will make sure you do your work sincerely. Register now to take your own blog to the next level. Re-check all details before submitting:

And guys, and girls, don’t write for the heck of writing. Write to help others, help yourself, do good for the community, give some quality information, recite some inspiring poems, whatever works well for the greater good of humanity in general. Also, reminders will be given in the WhatsApp group and email. So, pull up your socks and let’s get jiggy with it!
