While born and bred in the Gulf with parental roots in Goa and Mangalore, most of my family lived in Bombay and other continents around the world! Because of this and the urge to write, I have always been the kind who wrote and kept in touch with my loved ones. From a full-time working woman who had loads of extra-curricular activities up her sleeve to a stay-at-home-mom (aka SAHM), I now reside in Bangalore, India.
When did I begin to write? I have endless diary entries from the innocent age of 7. When I was done sitting at home after delivery, I began writing online and for assignments. With a demanding three-year-old, I had limited time to spare and still did not do justice to my talent. But after my second delivery, I made sure I went all out with my writing and blogging.
Hobbies other than writing? Until a few years ago, I was a busy bee, who, besides singing with a choir, was also a part of the band ‘Studio 4’. Miss you guys! Had to mention you! Some of my hobbies include singing, dancing, eating at good restaurants, photography, collecting stamps and key-chains. My latest passion, besides writing, is belly dancing and painting.
What is this blog about? When I started, I wanted it to be one article that people could read about, on how I lost my post-pregnancy weight. But, with a friend’s encouragement, I began writing about everything a woman does, thinks and goes through. Basically, this blog is about positive thinking and ways on how to look at life not-so-seriously. It also includes reviews, information and other work that I do.
Any disclaimers? ‘All characters appearing in this work are fictitious. Any resemblance to real persons, living or dead, is purely coincidental’. I’ve basically combined fiction, facts, future and fairy-tales here in my blog.
Any motto you believe in? There are a few but the one that I totally and sincerely believe in is ‘BE YOURSELF’.
