As you all know, I have always loved to read books by various authors like Enid Blyton, Carolyn Keene, Charles Dickens, Oscar Wilde, etc. and then Sidney Sheldon, O Henry, Arthur Conan Doyle and more. Thanks to my mom, I was a voracious reader since I was a child up until I was around 22. Then I got lost in life and forgot all about books for a decade or so. Just recently, I joined an amazing blogging community that I am genuinely grateful for encouraging me to read again through their BookChatter program.
Within a few months, they have also been the sole reason behind me emerging as an author. They have boosted my morale and pushed me to write 2 e-books that were published 3 weeks apart. If not for them, I would have never thought of putting my head together to write my first book. Publishing has always been a challenge but with their #BlogchatterEbook carnival, it was pretty easy.
Before going into the details about that, let me give you a gist about my second e-book that launched today – ‘Aavishka’. I had begun writing another fiction story and left that half-way when suddenly, on one magical night, I got inspired to create a protagonist named Aavishka. The book is based on a true story but is purely fictional. It’s about how life drastically changes and how we have to manage it the best we can to survive.

Here’s the blurb of my e-book:
Marriage is not black and white. It has different shades of various colours. It is definitely not a situation where we can be ready to enjoy all the ‘ups’ or get rid of all the ‘downs’ that easily. It is a mix of everything that could transform you depending on how you handle it. When a new match is found, Aavishka is elated. She marries Atharv, the handsome boy selected by her parents. Though he is several years older, she believes that he is perfect. But, soon, she finds herself living a life that she had never imagined. Her mysterious husband had a secret that slowly unfolded over the years. Read Aavishka’s story about how marriage changed her as a person and how she handled it.
AAVISHKA can be purchased from the below online stores:

Fun Fact – Fiction books are all about the story, writing style, literature and imagination. It may or may not be based on true incidents. The word ‘fiction’ comes from the Latin word ‘fictiō’ which means ‘the act of making, fashioning or moulding.’
Now, about my first ever e-book called ‘Inner Feelings’. The complete name inside the cover is ‘Understand and Accept your Inner Feelings to embrace life wholeheartedly’. When I was reading about the rules of publishing on Blogchatter’s Ebook Library, I realized that writing a book that people want, with no grammatical errors and converting it into a paperback was not at all easy. However, with Blogchatter giving us this opportunity, to publish one e-book on their platform, I just had to try it out.
The process is super easy if you just READ and follow their instructions. Of course, the minimum word limit frightened me at first, but I still took the plunge. I soon realized that the writer in me was always an aspiring author. And, the gyani in me decided to first publish a self-help or self-awareness book which I felt was the need of the hour. Honestly, I think that many people neglect how they feel, or don’t realize why they feel a certain way or perhaps end up hating themselves for sensing a particular emotion. My book gives suggestions on how to go about these inner most feelings.
I knew that it wouldn’t be a book that can be accepted easily by everyone, but I had to write it for the benefit of those who may need it. Everything that I have seen, realized or experienced, in my almost 40 years of life, is in the book in order to help those struggling with various emotions. Do have a look at it, feel it, and let me know what you think about it. Or, send it to the ones who may need it.

How wonderful! Cindy, I guess most of the writers who are ‘aspiring authors’ become one quite accidently. I am one too….an accidental author who had this idea sitting inside me for 4 years but my professional life did not give me the chance…Awesome and many Congrats!!
Thank you. Hope you write a book soon, too, Anjali. When you have so much inside your head, you have to make time to get it all out into a book. All the best for that!
