Recently, I got a chance to review a customizable product. Who doesn’t love to have their own names on various items like t-shirts, mugs, pillows, pens, hats, etc.? This time it was SHOES, specifically SNEAKERS made in India. When I got this opportunity, I was overexcited and began thinking of various things I would want to print on them. On the website, you can also select shoes with designs already printed on them, but, of course, I went with the customizable bit!
Well, it’s pretty simple actually. But, you need to be tech savvy for this. Sometimes, their system hangs if you insert .PNG images, so, you have to convert your images into a .JPEG format instead. I still think that the print would be much clearer if they updated their system to accept the .PNG files.
Once you are ready with your images, get onto their website https://www.toesmith.com/, and sign up using this referral code (CIN8ZFKY) to get Rs.100 in your Toesmith wallet. Then, choose your style and start customizing your shoes like never before. I chose the slip-on sneakers.
Next, you can choose a solid colour or texture you want on each part of your shoe. Or you can simply insert an image you have and select a background for the same (only on heels, quarters and vamps). Do you know what each part of a shoe is called? No? Even I didn’t. Do not fret, the website will help you. Check the image below to gain some knowledge about that.
You can also customize your shoes with the personalize option where you can mention a different text for each side of the shoes. The premium option gives you some more designs to choose from.
You can also zoom in/out and adjust (rotate/flip) the image according to your preference. For the text you can change the font, size and colour, too. After customizing each part of the shoe, click the X button to go back to your main designing station. Once you are happy with the complete look of your shoe, choose your gender and purchase.
If you have something in mind, or you just want something unique, book an artist who delivers your designs online. In case anything goes wrong or you are unable to fit an image into its place properly, contact the team immediately by clicking the live red button (when you click on ‘account’). You can also send them a message through this page https://www.toesmith.com/contact-us. They will solve your problems immediately.
You will get an email/SMS for every step that your pair of shoes go through, before they reach you; namely order confirmation, printing, stitching, moulding, dispatching and finally, the delivery. So, it took around 2 weeks between confirmation and delivery.
The fit is pretty good but the exterior could be a little softer as well as lighter for women.
The inside of the shoe has a little cushion and is quite soft and comfortable.
The designs on it could be clearer. The name on my logo is barely visible.
I am quite happy with my shoes and I must say that the wait was definitely worth it.
I’m currently using them for my brisk walks.
If the shoes do not fit, you can contact them and apply for an immediate replacement.

I think sneakers are the most comfortable shoes one can wear and if you can customize and give and personal touch to it, why not. I loved the shoes and will check them out for myself.

Wow now this is interesting. It is important to have the shoes customised. I have always thought about that, every feet is different size but we try to fit them as per standard size and sometimes they harm more. I like this idea of customisation and returning if it does not fit.
