Being indoors has really not been easy, especially when you merely want to go for a walk and the virus is so close to home. We had even stopped our help since March 2020. We barely meet anyone outside the house and yearn to have a get-together at home with friends. Checking out a new restaurant has become a thing of the past. Travelling has become a memory.
But, we have to stay positive and move on, even if it is only within the four walls of our homes. We have to make life interesting and enjoy our time with family as much as possible. Therefore, my kids and I engage ourselves with various activities to keep busy during the pandemic. Pampering ourselves is just one of them.
So, when we have sessions of feet pedicures, facials or general hair and skin spa days at home, we mostly try and use products that are natural, pure and handcrafted.
For our facial session last week, we tried the Deyga Rose & Mulethi Face Pack. The ingredients of this product are native roses, mulethi, oatmeal and essential oils. Mulethi and oatmeal are meant to deeply clean out the dead cells in order to help rejuvenate your dull and lifeless skin. We combined two tbsps. of the face pack powder with Deyga Rose Water Facial Toner, which helps nourish and keep the skin hydrated.
The rose extracts are high in Vitamin C and have astringent and antibacterial properties, which stimulate collagen and help tighten the skin. It also helps reduce oiliness. So, if your skin is oily or prone to acne, you have to try these products. We also added some milk to the mixture to make it a paste good enough for application.
My son was so fascinated by it that he wanted some of it on his little face, too. I was okay with using a little on the kids because these are all natural products. It only had a light fragrance from the rose water mixed into it, so, we sat playing UNO for 15 minutes until we washed it away.
The unique creations are made, mixed and packed by the ‘Made in India’ brand itself. The 100% pure traditional spices are infused with a few modern elements to suit requirements. The ingredients are 100% natural and only undergo chemical changes during the natural processes like fermentation, distillation, and cold processing. All the products are cruelty free, and no animals were harmed in the making.
Once dry, I sprayed the Deyga Rose Water Facial Toner to refresh my skin. I pat dried my face and looked into the mirror. My face looked clean and felt hydrated, moisturized and soft. It felt good. We decided to do this facial session every two weeks to pamper ourselves and keep our skin soft. Actually, keep my skin soft as kids already have soft skin. And, also to satisfy the itch to do something fun.
