Gifting is a kind gesture of giving someone a present. It could be for their birthday, anniversary, wedding or just to tell them they are loved and appreciated. Many, like me, love gifting personalized items. And, if you do not have the time to create one yourself, then read on.
The other day, I was approached by OyeHappy to order something from their website and write about my experience as well as about the item I received. So, I chose Frame the Name for our home.
ORDERING PROCESS
The process of selecting and finalizing the item was quite quick. After payment, you will find the customization form to do the needful. I was pretty amused with the options they had for the pictures. We could choose ‘coloured’, ‘black and white’ or ‘Let OyeHappy decide’. I chose the last one, of course. Furthermore, there were clear instructions on how to go about the rest of the personalization.
But, sometimes, things can go wrong. The network dropped and the photographs did not get uploaded. Nevertheless, the team sent me the form link on email and I continued with the process the next day. If you’re in a hurry, you can call them on the number provided on the top right of the page.
RECEIVING THE ITEM
It took 6 days for the item to arrive, which included a delay due to the pandemic situation. I asked my son to open the gift. The cardboard packaging was quite neat, and the item was wrapped with gift paper, too. I was quite impressed with the frame.
OTHER GIFTS ON THE WEBSITE
I searched for a lot of items on the website. I quite liked the hampers, memory related items and the experiences like Air Safari or Jodhpur on Foot. If someone really loves and adores bears, you could make them feel special with the bear hug worth Rs 4000/-. Obviously, it’s not by a real bear!
AREAS FOR IMPROVEMENT
I think the frame was quite a light one to be recognized as a gift worth Rs 1300/-. They could probably use a slightly heavier frame which would be a good gifting item.
Also, there were no varieties for the frame. They should have different choices of colours and designs to select from. Not everyone would like a plain red frame though I love it.
Lastly, I think they should avoid mentioning the brand name inside the frame. You would want to gift your loved one with a personalized gift from yourself, without the brand name being prominent there. You cannot feel the thoughtfulness involved in the gift if the brand name is right under your loved ones’ picture or name, now can you?
CONCLUSION
I liked the website and would probably use this to Sponsor a Dream or Gift a Smile too. If you’re looking for gifts that are naughty, you are in for a nice surprise. There are birthday countdowns and letters that can be given to our excited children who are birthday obsessed a week before their big days. I will probably get the Cuddly Voice Message next. Will let you know about it if I do!
Have you tried this website before? What was your experience and how did you find the selection of gifting items on their portal? Whom do you plan to gift and which item?

Loved the frame with your initials. It can be a great Christmas or newer gift. Personalized gift options always ad that extra touch of love.
I have tried few other online gifting options and with the festive season coming in will explore OyeHappy too. Liked your honest review on personal experience with this service::)
