I’m not someone who wears ethnic on normal days. An Indian traditional outfit is purchased only if I need to, like for casual poojas at a friend’s house, where everyone else will be in a similar attire, or at a non-Christian wedding. Also, I won’t choose something too common or conventional. I’m always looking for something that is a blend of tradition and modernity.

The process of selecting an item was easy, though I thought many outfits looked glam at Alaya by Stage3. The moment I selected the outfits, I received a confirmation email with the order details. The same was sent on WhatsApp, too.
The garments were delivered in less than a week. They were neatly and securely bound together in soft courier packaging.

QUALITY – The quality is amazing. The Green Velvet outfit is soft and velvety, just how it should be. The black anarkali is made of a lighter material and is quite comfortable. I love the customized dupatta that came with it. Check out the pictures with and without the dupatta.

FIT AND SIZE – Both outfits fit perfectly. And I do look glamorous in them, don’t you think? 😉 I’m ready to rock the next event I attend.

DESIGN – I loved many of the designs on the website, but mindfully chose only the two that I needed and liked most. But who am I to stop you from buying more, right?
I did not find any areas for improvement as such. Perhaps they could update the website more quickly, as the original outfits that I LOVED were SOLD OUT!

Alaya by Stage3 is the most recent website where I got outfits that portrayed tradition and modernity. Their customer service was quick and responsive. I was immediately emailed that the outfits I had selected were sold out. I have come across other websites that have neither informed me about the non-availability of the product nor the reason for cancelling my order. It gets frustrating, especially when you’re trying out a new brand. But, Alaya by Stage3 replied to every email until I chose an outfit that I liked and was available.

We are still in the festive mood with the wedding season, Christmas and New Year coming up. Waiting to show off these gorgeous outfits and click lots of pictures in them once I’m all decked up. Are you done shopping for new outfits for the upcoming festivities? Well, if not, you should take a look at this website. I’m sure you won’t be disappointed. Even their clearance sale has pretty outfits.
Have you purchased anything from this website before? Is their collection what you’re looking for?

I love both the outfits but the one in green stole the show. Will check Alaya for sure.
Thank you for the complete detailed process and introducing me to this beautiful collection!

Thank you for this honest and helpful review.
I loved how you balanced style, quality, and practicality while sharing your festive outfit journey—it felt like shopping alongside you.
These blog posts have so many good to knows that I read all of them and store information even if I don’t use them nor planning to in immediate future . Thanks for this info
The kurti is indeed pretty and I like this type of Neck cut and I have one with me which is my very favorite outfit. I will check out the store soon.. You are looking indeed gorgeous
Thank you, Samata!
I don’t buy a lot of ethnic outfits online since the quality and fit is an issue. Alaya by Stage 3 sounds promising. You do look lovely in both! Will check it out.
Thanks, Varsha!
Such a nice review. I enjoyed how you called out that Alaya by Stage3 truly balances tradition and modernity. The way you described fabrics, fit and festive-ready outfits without sacrificing comfort really resonated. Thanks for highlighting something so special in a sea of “meh” online ethnic-wear options.
The Green Velvet outfit looks fab. I’ve never owned anything in velvet in my wardrobe. You’ve tempted me now.
Try it, Manali!
The green outfit looks stunning and is suitable for weddings and parties. This website would be helpful for online purchases.
I haven’t heard of this brand before, so I’m definitely going to check the website. I usually buy most of my clothes online. Thanks for the review.
You look lovely, Cindy and I love your choice of outfits. I have bought from Alaya and had a very pleasant experince with them as well.
Wow, show pictures, Mayuri!
I have not heard of this website Alaya by Stage 3 and never shopped from them either. You look glamorous in everything Cindy!
I am not into velvets and heavy embroidery on suits but will explore if they have something I would love to pick up.
You look so good in these ethnic clothes. The black one is really stunning. I’ll check out the website, since you are praising customer service a lot.
Yes, you look gorgeous Cindy. Thanks for sharing this website. I often look for traditional outfits with a fusion or modern touch but it’s so hard to find them. I look on myntra (but nopes) and trying new websites is a bit risky (I have been duped previously) so this one looks worth trying. Thanks!
Pleasure is mine, Pinki!
I avoid buying clothes online because I am usually skeptical about the fit. I had never even heard of this brand before landing on your post. However, I actually went ahead and checked their website ! The collection looked beautiful and unique just like you said. Thank you for introducing me to something totally new!
My pleasure, Romila!
I buy all my stuff online, but I have never heard of Alaya BY Stage3 before. I already checked out the site. Thank you for sharing this, Cindy. Looks good for weddings and formal occasions.
Yeah that’s what I thought too, Harjeet!
