When I heard of this challenge, I didn’t think I had it in me to finish even 2 books a month. Less than that would not be a challenge, now would it? When I realized that I had already read around 20 books since January, I decided to sign up in June and select 40 as my target – just to be safe and not over-estimate myself. I know I have crossed the mark by now because I have read almost all the free short books on the Juggernaut App, and still have a few on my shelf. But, I only upload selected books to the #TBRChallenge reader board.
And yes, I make sure I upload the covers only once I FINISH reading the books.
*Think of an achievable number as your target. This will be the number of books you would want to finish reading by the end of the year.
*Once done, pick up a book and start your exciting reading journey!
*You can keep on adding the images of the book covers you are done with.
Remember – You cannot change the number later on unless you email the team to edit the same.
Even as avid readers, we do not keep a list of the books we have read. I review the books I read on GoodReads’ and Juggernaut’s website/app. But, it is lovely to have ALL your book memories (physical and virtual) in one place! So, personally, I thought this would be a fun way to keep track of what I have read, and make me feel proud at the end of the challenge! Also, lazy readers like me will have motivation to read throughout the year. For some of us, it is an ACHIEVEMENT!
Thanks to this challenge and a little self-motivation, I have read a lot of books this year. You can see some of them below!
Believe it or not, I’ve only recently heard of PG Wodehouse. Luckily, someone had his books and I am thoroughly enjoying his witty writing.
Some books by Agatha Christie, who writes a genre I love.
Some books by William Sydney Porter also known as O’ Henry.
Here are some I’ve read from the Juggernaut App.
Here you will find some books by bloggers turned authors.
And here are some nice reads by new Indian authors.
I’m hoping to start the challenge by January for next year. What do you think of the books I’ve read? Do we have similar taste? Have you taken part in the TBR challenge ever? How was your experience?
I’m participating in the #TBRChallenge by Blogchatter
I’m taking my blog to the next level with

I have underestimated myself, I kept my target much lower this time and read much more. So next time I an doing to raise my bar by applying your tips. Thanks for all the book recommendations, thank you so much for including my book too in this list of yours. I am extremely grateful.
Pleasure is mine, Swati!
Your list has wide variety and we too read from many genres. We have tried Science fiction this year and must tell you it is good to read out of comfort zone too.
Yeah, I’ve read history fiction but not science fiction yet, I think. Have to check.
Wow, Cindy, great going. I have also participated in the TBR challenge only to get back on my reading habits. But, I must say this challenge has come as a big motivation booster. And friends like you all are a huge inspiration.
Glad to know that, Archana!
I keep my targets low because I no longer have the time to read like I used to! Currently at 24 out of my 30 target and I think I’ll get there. I also diligently upload the covers after I’ve finished the books!
Even though I love reading books, I found the challenge intimidating ! I have opted for Mental Health as a cause I will espouse on my blog but the way you made it so easy to achieve and I know you have your hands full, I am surely going to take up this #TBR challenge next time !
I had heard a lot about blogchatter reading challenge but never give this a try. I agree when we participate in any challenge, we feel more committed towards our goal. thank you so much for sharing so many amazing book recommendation in this post. I had read few of these in past.
Awesome reads, Cindy. My reading has become limited to blog reading only. I guess I am getting old 🙁 . Congratulations and all the best for your reading challenge.
Awesome Cindy. I am an Agatha Christie fan. I have read most of the books from this collection. From you collection, I would like to read The fault in their stars.

Loved this, Cindy. We have similar tastes. Your post makes me want to pick a Wodehouse next. I am royally behind in updating my reading list although I think I have already met the set goal.
Oh you have to get Wodehouse. It will take patience to read but it’s awesome.
Thanks for reading my book “Incredible India Bucketlist” hope you have enjoyed it. 🙂 and your list in interesting. I haven’t read anything by Woodhouse and O’ Henry. I would definitely read them
